The most likely cause for the PDF and/or the 2nd text file to be missing is that somehow these the boxes in the measurement tab labelled “Autosave .txt” and “Autosave .PDF” (see below) became un-ticked. It may be necessary to put in a step to check that these options are enabled into your SOP if you require the PDF and 2nd text file from every measurement.
The good news is that the software allows you to re-analyse video data, so you can generate the missing PDF and text file after the initial measurement. It also allows you to reanalyse measurement data using different post-acquisition parameters.
To do this open the Analysis tab:
- Click on "Load Files / Analyzes (Clear List)"
- Browse to the desired storage folder
- Open the database
- Select the desired measurement for (re-) analysis
- Load the histogram with “OK”
- A dialogue will then open and ask whether an existing analysis should be loaded or a new analysis should be carried out with the current post-acquisition parameters.
- Click Load Existing to analyse using the original post-acquisition parameters.
- Loading old analyses and doing re-analyses do not auto-save data outside of the software database, so once the progress bar shows that the analysis is complete you need to select the format to your re-analysed data. There are PDF, text, and screenshot options.
